Education Qualification : Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Rural Development, Sociology, or a related field (Master’s preferred)

Experience : 

  • 1–3 years of experience in community-based work, preferably in the development/non-profit sector.
  • Strong communication skills in local language(s) and working knowledge of English/Hindi.
  • Ability to build rapport with diverse stakeholders and communities.
  • Comfortable with fieldwork, including travel to rural/remote areas.
  • Basic knowledge of MS Office, digital data collection tools, and report writing.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Community Mobilization :
    Engage with community members, local leaders, and stakeholders to create awareness about the NGO’s programs and encourage participation.
  • Beneficiary Identification :
    Conduct surveys, baseline studies, and community meetings to identify eligible individuals or groups for specific interventions.
  • Program Implementation :
    Support the execution of activities such as workshops, trainings, awareness campaigns, and field events in alignment with project goals.
  • Liaison and Networking :
    Coordinate with Panchayats, Self-Help Groups (SHGs), government departments, and other NGOs for smooth project implementation and advocacy.
  • Documentation & Reporting :
    Maintain field-level documentation, attendance sheets, photo documentation, case studies, and regular activity reports.
  • Feedback Mechanism :
    Facilitate feedback sessions and grievance redressal among community members to ensure inclusive and participatory processes.
  • Monitoring & Evaluation :
    Assist in collecting data and supporting monitoring and evaluation efforts to track progress and impact.
